The Heights Players presents: Fiorello

The Heights Players ends its 54th season with the Pulitzer, Tony and Drama Critics Circle Award-winning musical, Fiorello!

Regarded as one of the most underappreciated musicals of all time, Fiorello! is the classic tale of New York’s “Little Flower,” Fiorello H. LaQuardia. The book is by George Abbott and Jerome Weidman and the gorgeous score is by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick. The show follows LaGuardia from his early career as a Greenwich Village lawyer and Congressman to his eventual rise as Mayor of New York City. With songs like “Til Tomorrow,” “Gentleman Jimmy” and “Politics and Poker,” Fiorello’s career is brought to life with both rousing and tender musical numbers.

Fiorello! will be presented Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. May 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29. Sunday matinees will be performed at 2 p.m. on May 16, 23 and 30. Ticket prices are $20.00, $18.00 (children and seniors). TDF Vouchers are accepted. Reservations can be made by calling (718) 237-2752 or visiting our website at www.heightsplayers.org (24-hour notice required).

The Heights Players is located at 26 Willow Place, between Joralemon & State Streets, in historic downtown Brooklyn Heights. 2, 3, 4 & 5 trains to Borough Hall, M/R to Court St. Parking available in the general vicinity. See you at the theatre.
