On the Road Again

Loosing a loved one can be a devastating feeling, especially if he is your eight-month-old son who was recently kidnapped. Your life spins out of control while feeling helpless, sitting back while each minute goes by is utterly frustrating. All that is left to do is take matters into your own hands and keep searching- no matter how long it takes. What matters most is finding your child alive, praying that he is unharmed.

As for Jax Teller, Charlie Hunnam [“Mean Street Hooligans”], he is experiencing a similar situation. The only difference is that he has support from his club members, The Sons of Anarchy.

The gang is back. This time with a huge dilemma on their hands due to the kidnapping of Abel. The aftermath has the Sons of Anarchy bewildered, especially Jax, who is diving deeper into distress. His situation is causing him to lose focus and wanting to give up his relationship with Tara, [Maggie Siff, “Mad Men”] his girlfriend. Meanwhile Gemma, played by Katie Segal [“Married With Children”] is still hiding out after being framed for murder by agent Stahl, Ally Walker [“Universal Soldier”] decides to visit her sick father while still worrying about her family back home.

“So” which is the first episode of season three for this fascinating series starts off very slow, focusing on how Jax and the club will find Abel, which seems to be the main objective, storyline, and direction that this season will go in.

Overall, there was limited action that took place in this episode, which is very rare for a series of this magnitude. However, you can count on creator and writer Kurt Sutter to have several tricks up his sleeve as this season moves along. Although it seems that there will be a huge build up to finding Able, you can also bet there will be plenty of fireworks and drama that will get season 3 rolling. Don’t think for one minute that this roller coaster is missing wheels.

The climax to “So” was shocking to say the least, and came out of left field, especially what we witnessed to one of the main characters.

Let’s just say that the fuse has been lit and the bomb is about to go off. From here on out expect full pandemonium from this third season, which kicked off to a good start.

Let the hunting begin.

At the site, I'm a music, television and graphic novel kind of guy and that's what I'll be writing for the most part. Expect some book and music reviews as well though [insert demon horns here]. I grew up in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, the same neighborhood many of the best mafia films of our day were based on, idolizing guys like Robert Deniro, Martin Scorsese and Al Pacino. I'm also a big sports fan and follow the New York Yankees immensely.
