BURNHAM’s ‘CATCH ME IF YOU CAN,’ DEBUT SINGLE ON ISLAND CATCHES NEXT BIG HIT RAVE FROM ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY NEW TEEN ISLAND TRIO BEGINS 6 WEEKS OF NORTH AMERICAN CONCERTS WITH JUSTIN BIEBER, OCT. 19th THROUGH DEC. 23rd

Young pop trio Burnham, whose debut single “Catch Me If You Can” is the newest entry on the Teen Island hit-list, begins their first major tour on October 19th, six weeks on the road with multi-platinum Island Records labelmate Justin Bieber on his next leg of AEG concerts through November 23rd.
In advance of the tour, Burnham – brothers Alex (age 18, guitar), Andre (17, bass and keyboards), and Forrest (14, on lead vocals) – visited New York’s Hard Rock Café at Times Square on September 23rd to perform “Catch Me If You Can” as part of FOX 5’s Good Day New York benefit for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The event was co-sponsored by IDJ and Nick Cannon, head of Teen Island.
Also in September, “Catch Me If You Can” caught the ear of Entertainment Weekly’s Next Big Hits issue where, programmer Sharon Dastur of Z-100 praised youngest brother Forrest’s “charisma and personality,” and noted that “a lot of people are comparing them to Hanson” (the ‘90s pop trio on IDJ’s Mercury Records, of “MMMBop” renown). “Catch Me If You Can” is the first single from Burnham’s debut album, due for release later this year. In addition to OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder (who wrote and produced the single), Burnham is working with producers Brian Kennedy (credits: Rihanna, Chris Brown, Jesse McCartney) and New York-based Norwegian team Espionage (Espen Lind and Amund Bjorklund, whose credits include Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister,” Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable”).
Vermont-based trio Burnham joins IDJ’s Teen Island roster, which is spearheaded by Justin Bieber, and includes Kristinia DeBarge (“Goodbye”), Jessica Jarrell (“Almost Love”), Aaron Fresh (“Spending All My Time”), Khalil (“Girlfriend”), and School Gyrlz.
