Straight From New York Comic Con: Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare- First Look

Rockstar has made a habit of releasing quality downloadable content for the X-Box 360 over the past few years and that looks to only continue with Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. Fast-paced and feverishly fun, it’s an expansion that looks to add even more depth to an already excellent title.

With zombies beginning to trend in pop culture again, it’s cool to see Rockstar put their own spin on it, while keeping the core gameplay of Red Dead Redemption intact. While only a small section was available to play at the New York Comic Con, the run and gun gameplay mechanics employed during the action was enough of a taste to hook you. It would have been too easy to slap in zombies onto this great game, but Rockstar promises an intriguing story that ties everything together.

Different zombie types also spice up the action, and force you to move quickly and take them out as quick as you can. Efficiency is also a must, as the undead will only perish after a headshot. With so many enemies on the screen at once, novice gamers will have to polish up on their skills to get the job done.

Although no release date has been set, with the release of the trailer and gameplay available at Comic Con, the zomberific action should be on its way soon.
