CASTING ANNOUNCED FOR B.H. BARRY’S Treasure Island

PERFORMANCES BEGIN, FEBRUARY 15; OPENING MARCH 5, 2011 AT BROOKLYN’S IRONDALE CENTER

New York: Casting has been announced for B.H. Barry’s production of Treasure Island. The production will set sail at Brooklyn’s Irondale Center (85 South Oxford Street) beginning February15 (opening March 5, initially through March 26). Treasure Island is presented by Golden Rivet Productions and Irondale Ensemble.

Film: The Winning Season), JOSH CLAYTON (Ghost Town), NOAH GALVIN (Nat’l Tour Les Mis, The Burnt Pat) as young Jim Hawkins, MICHAEL GABRIEL GOODFRIEND (Films: Helter Skelter, To Serve and Protect), TOM HEWITT (The Lion King, Art, Tony Nom. for Rocky Horror) as Long John Silver, KEN SCHATZ (Classical Theatre of Harlem’s King Lear. The classic tale of Jim Hawkins, Long John Silver and swashbuckling pirates theatricalized by Tony Award-winning fight director B.H. Barry, Treasure Island, is a spine–tingling adventure about treachery, treasure and a young man’s rite of passage.
