Troll And Toad To Join Wizard World Tour At Chicago Comic Con

NEW YORK- Collectible card gaming has been an increasingly significant part of Wizard World shows, and today’s announcement that TrollandToad.Com will join the Comic Con Tour represents another huge boost.

TrollandToad.com has become the world’s largest online retailer of collectible games. They have been in business since 1993 specializing in collectible card games, out of print games, as well as current games.

Collectible cards and games will now have a stronger presence at upcoming shows, beginning at Chicago Comic Con next month. TrollandToad.Com will set up a booth at each show and hold a series of mini-tournaments for popular games like Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, HeroClix and others.

TrollandToad.Com will provide free access to the gaming area located within the Exhibit Hall, and some of the games will be free to learn and play, with free lessons available from seasoned players. There will also be a kid’s zone where younger gamers can learn to play.

The gaming hall is located within the exhibit hall and access to the gaming area is free, with purchase of a convention wrist band. A variety of games will be free to learn and play from their volunteer staff. The gaming area is family friendly and will be open to ages. Young convention goers participation is encouraged.

Wizard World began conducting Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh and other CCG tournaments at its conventions in 2010, drawing thousands of players in several cities.

“TrollandToad.Com is a huge proponent of social gaming, and its participation will help ramp up what is already a star-studded gaming line-up with WiZK!DZ (Heroclix), CRYPTOZOIC ENT. (World Of Warcraft Trading Card Game) and The Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA),” said Gareb Shamus, Wizard World CEO. “We are excited to be working with them to make the tournaments an even bigger part of our shows.”
