Sons of Anarchy Coverage: People to Pray For

Episode Commentary: John 8:32

To say that things have changed on “Sons of Anarchy” would be a gross understatement.

It’s about to go down.

An episode of revelations, “John 8:32” sets the stage for what appears to be a marvelous end of season stretch for the show.

Now that Jax knows the truth about Tara, the rest of the season will be absolutely action packed. The show’s final scene, which showed Tara putting one of the babies to bed with a gun nearby, has to make you think. How is this all going to end?

Simply put- someone has to die.

The same thing goes for Clay’s situation with the Irish. Now that Jax has his sights set on evening the score after Galen O’Shea blew up the MC’s clubhouse, the bloodshed that began the season is sure to continue.

This was an episode full of memorable moments. From the fight between Jax and Nero, to Clay’s “performance” in the prison, this episode was heavy on the violence. But don’t like that fool you. Gemma’s reconciliation with Jax is for the best of the club and will prove to be a strength moving forward. However, for the time being, Jax is a ball of fire that is driven to destroy anything that prevents him and his club from being happy. That includes his wife.

After so many developments and still, clearly plenty of things left to unfold, “Sons of Anarchy” is at its highest point of the season. Where the show goes from here will cement its place in the show’s legacy. With prior seasons as a gauge, it’s easy to say that the end of this year’s ride will be another stellar one.

For those that thought the show jumped the shark a few episodes back, it’s time to reevaluate that sentiment.
