Tensions ran high on Main Event this week, with vicious moments and a decent card. The surprise addition of a Daniel/Bryan/Kane match added to the suspense. It’s the type of match that people don’t expect to see on the show, well, because it mattered. Could this be a sign of things to come for the show in the future?
Matches:
Daniel Bryan vs Kane: Kane punished Bryan with a side walk slam, a few kicks and a slew clotheslines. After he failed to deliver a Chokeslam, Bryan countered into a rollup to defeat the big corporate monster.
Alicia Fox w/Aksana vs Nikki Bella w/Brie Bella: Nikki Bella was in a headlock as Fox gained control until cheers from the crowd gave Nikki motivation to fight back. Both ladies tested each one another with power moves.. After a few clotheslines, Nikki gave Fox a dropkick and a back body drop. While Brie stopped Aksana’s interference, a back breaker gave Nikki a victory.
WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso vs Los Matadores w/El Torito: After a few drop kicks from the Usos, Jimmy connected with the splash from top rope and the team retained the titles. After the match, Los Matadores took down the New Age Outlaws to earn the appreciation of the crowd.
