With less matches than usual in the card, this week’s Main Event was unsatisfying. There was no development in the match card with Wrestlemania XXX a heartbeat away. Even though the promos for the show of shows gave the crowd something to cheer about, it was a boring show once again. None of the matches were good enough to provide action. Simply put, Main Event didn’t supply any entertainment to excite the crowd this week.
Matches:
Sheamus vs. The Miz: The Miz dodged Sheamus’ attacks, causing “The Great White†to tumble out of the ring, but he couldn’t hold on to the advantage for long. A Brogue kick gave Sheamus the victory.
Nikki Bella w/Brie Bella vs. Tamina Snuka w/Divas Champion AJ Lee: Snuka was caught in a headlock by Nikki early on, but after she delivered a sharp Clothesline to Nikki outside the ring, she gained some momentum. Nikki fought back with strength and used a Back body drop to weaken her opponent. But after a kick to the gut and a splash from top rope, Nikki was defeated by Tamina.
