WWE RAW Power Rankings: Rollins Joins Evolution, New Champ at MITB?

In the wake of the events following Payback and Batista’s “quitting” the company, there were plenty of other developments that made this week’s RAW entertaining. With the possibility that the Money in the Bank ladder match could determine a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion if Daniel Bryan cannot compete, the cool factor went through the roof.

Check out this week’s WWE RAW Power Rankings to see who came out of Payback and into RAW with the momentum needed to make a splash at the upcoming Money in the Bank pay per view.

Honorable Mention: Bo Dallas: The former NXT Champion is still undefeated following a win over Kofi Kingston this week on RAW. With two dependable champions for the mid-card titles in Wade Barrett and Sheamus, don’t expect Dallas to challenge for a title anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean that his winning ways won’t continue through the rest of the summer.

5: Adam Rose: Either Jack Swagger is that bad or Rose has potential. The safe bet is the latter as Rose’s convincing over the former World Heavyweight Champion in Swagger was easily the biggest of his young career.

4: Wade Barrett: Even in defeat this week on RAW, Barrett more than held his own against United States Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and Rob Van Dam. One of the only cool heels on the show, Barrett has plenty of potential to move up the card. Proof of that can easily be seen with his new pyrotechnic entrance and the fact that it took two finishers to put him away. Could a feud with Cesaro be on the horizon? If that is the case, it could be this generation’s Rock vs. Triple H encounter for the IC Title, as both Barrett and Cesaro are future WWE World Heavyweight Champions.

3: John Cena: The leader of the Cenation had some harsh words for Stephanie McMahon and managed to beat Kane (by DQ) just a night after he beat Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing match at Payback. Not a bad night, eh? Even though Cena is both hated and loved by fans, he continues to be a voice that gets a legitimate reaction from the WWE Universe. Simply put, he’s someone that deserves the spot they have on the show right now.

2: The Wyatt Family: If Luke Harper’s solid skills on the microphone weren’t enough, Harper and Rowan’s dominating win over the WWE Tag Team Champion Usos proves that they are for real. Even if Bray Wyatt can’t get the big win over John Cena just yet, Harper and Rowan have proven they are a force all by themselves.

1: Evolution: With Batista’s departure, Seth Rollins’ arrival into the faction makes them younger and more dangerous than ever before. Following The Shield’s most dominant moment at Payback, it appears Evolution has begun a new era of dominance themselves.
