NXT Power Rankings: An Hour Bathroom Break

With no Adrian Neville, Ascension, Charlotte Flair this week on NXT and Corey Graves’ concussion issues continuing to keep him out of the ring, this week’s NXT fell into the usual trap- forcing WWE main roster lower mid-carders to fill in the void. The end result was another weak show that failed to impress.

Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see who advanced in the tournament for a shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles and more.

Honorable Mention: Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore: Their win over the solid team of Jason Jordan and Ty Dillinger doesn’t say much because they didn’t do too much wrestling this week on NXT. Regardless, the fans love them and they have talent on the microphone. It’s hard to deny’s Amore’s charisma and Cassady’s size and for that reason, they have a damn good shot at winning the NXT Tag Team titles.

5: CJ Parker: This guy needs to be cut. He’s downright awful. His match with Woods this week on NXT was watchable only due to a few awesome moves from Woods. His modified Death Valley Driver is cooler than his joke of a Spinning Side Kick, but he still needs a ton of work.

4: Bayley: Like Xavier Woods, Bayley needs better competition. Why WWE Creative put her in the ring with the Jessica Rabbit wannabe in Eva Marie is mind-boggling. One of the best young female wrestlers in the business today, she needs to be in the ring with Charlotte Flair. Anything else for her is a waste of her time.

3: Xavier Woods: This guy is too good for NXT. His match with CJ Parker this week proves it. But with the depth on the WWE roster, Woods is the odd man out. In order for him to survive, he needs a better class of opponents and needs to keep doing what he’s doing. Simply put, that running Downward Spiral on Woods was the best move on NXT in weeks.

2: Tyler Breeze: bHis promo this week on NXT was confusing. He said he’s ready to take on NXT Champion Adrian Neville, but didn’t say when. Either way, the match will be a good one and with Neville’s stock pretty high, there’s a big chance Breeze could win the title, which would allow Neville to jump ship to the WWE main roster.

1: Sami Zayn: The former El Generico did what he does best this week on NXT- wrestle. But like so many other performers on the brand, he’s got no one to work with. Kenta and Devitt’s arrival will change NXT drastically and Zayn could benefit immensely by working with them.
