NXT Coverage: Kidd Done With Title Shots

Tyson Kidd’s loss to NXT Champion Adrian Neville marked the end of Kidd’s run at the title, but opens up a bevy of possibilities between Neville and Sami Zayn.

The same thing can be said for Charlotte Flair, who took Bayley down again and now appears ready to take on Sasha Banks.

Make no mistake, these are the feuds fans want to see and as a result, NXT is about to get a whole lot better. With Hideo Itami, the Vaudivillians and Baron Corbin moving up the ranks as well, there’s plenty of drama up and down the card.

Matches:

NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley: This was another drama-filled encounter that saw Flair work on Bayley’s knee throughout. Ever resilient, Bayley wouldn’t tap out to the Figure-Four, but Flair eventually got the win with the Natural Selection. After the match, the two embraced in a rare showing of respect.

Hideo Hitomi vs. Viktor w/Konnor: The match got thrown out after the former tag team champions decimated the Japanese star.

Baron Corbin vs. Troy MacLean: Corbin again quickly got the win with the End of Days on a jobber.

Simon Gotch and Aiden English vs. Ty Dillinger and Jason Jordan: It was a good back and forth match with the talented team of Dillinger and Jordan, but Gotch and English got the win with their Senton, Second Rope Senton Combination.

NXT Champion Adrian Neville vs. Tyson Kidd: Another epic in the journey between these two that nearly shifted after interference from Titus O’Neil. After Sami Zayn took out O’Neil though, Neville was free to take out Kidd with the Red Arrow for the win.
