The Walking Dead Coverage: Bye Bye Bob

The mid-season finale of “The Walking Dead” was a complete dud up- until the final moments of the episode.

A major character has bit the bullet, literally and from what seemed like an optimistic exchange at the hospital, quickly turned to complete tragedy.

This episode did have several intense moments, one of which involved Rick- who ran down officer Bob in a cop car and eventually killed him with a bullet in the head. Although the scene was suspenseful, Rick’s comment after the kill brought a few laughs. The scene that involved Father Gabriel, who avoided walkers to get to the church was also excessive. His acting shined this episode- you could feel his fear in the dire moments that he almost lost his life.

“Coda” went by quickly. Aside from several zombies who were hacked up, we did see the group unite once again. Unfortunately, they came together in an unfortunate set of circumstances. The loss of Beth made you feel for Maggie. The loss of someone close to you can really hurt. However, the loss of a sibling is simply tragic.
