Neal Adams, Julian Totino Tedesco, Chris Claremont, Dean Haspiel Headline Comics Creators At Wizard World Portland Comic Con, January 23-25

Ethan Van Sciver, Arthur Sudyam, Steve Lieber, Kurt Busiek, Paul Gulacy Among Talent In Artist Alley At Oregon Convention Center

Neal Adams (“Batman,” “Green Lantern”), Julian Totino Tedesco (“X-Treme X-Men,” “X-Force”), Chris Claremont (“Spider-Man,” “The Avengers”) and Dean Haspiel (“Bored to Death,” “Billy Dogma”) headline the roster of more than 130 top comics artists and writers attending Wizard World Portland Comic Con, January 23-25 at the Oregon Convention Center. The event is the second on the 2015 schedule for Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) and the third annual visit to Portland.

Other standouts in Artist Alley include Ethan Van Sciver (“Green Lantern,” “Justice League”), Arthur Suydam (“Marvel Zombies,” “Army of Darkness”), Kurt Busiek (“Astro City,” “Iron Man”), Kevin Maguire (“Justice League,” “Batman Confidential”), Paul Gulacy (“Valkyrie,” “Star Wars”), Joëlle Jones (“Ultimate Spider-Man,” “Adventures of Superman”), Christos Gage (“Buffy,” “X-Men”), Colleen Doran (“Sandman,” “A Distant Soil”) and Michael Golden (“Batman,” “Hulk”).

In addition, all full-price Wizard World Portland Comic Con attendees (weekend 3-day, VIP and single-day admissions) will receive a limited edition exclusive variant cover “The Walking Dead” comic, drawn by one of Wizard World’s talented artist guests (to be announced shortly). Comics will be issued at registration while supplies last and VIP attendees will receive an additional black & white sketch version.

Celebrities attending include Stephen Amell (“Arrow,” Hung”), Evan Peters (X-Men: Days of Future Past, “American Horror Story”), Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf,” Maid in Manhattan), Karl Urban (Star Trek Into Darkness, Dredd), Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones,” 300) and the “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” duo of Ming-Na Wen and Brett Dalton and many others.

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Wizard World Portland Comic Con show hours are Friday, January 23, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, January 24, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
