NXT Coverage: Kill Owens Kill

Plenty of surprises and four entertaining matches led the way in another awesome episode of NXT.

Simply put, NXT continues to be the best show on the WWE Network and a show that every wrestling fan needs to watch.

With plenty of drama in every title division and a level of unpredictability, NXT is far more entertaining than any other wrestling show anywhere.

Matches:

Rhino vs. Elias Sampson: To say the crowd popped when Rhyno came down the ramp would be an understatement. Although it was a short one, Rhyno appears in a solid shape and ready to contribute. After a Belly-to-Belly Suplex and a Gore, it was Game Over for Sampson in a quick win for Rhyno.

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady w/Carmella vs. Aiden English and Simon Gotch: After talking a big game before the match, Cassady and Amore backed it up with a win over the Vaudevillians, thanks to a corner attack from Amore and a Big Boot from Cassady. After the match, Blake and Murphy talked smack, possibly turning heel and beginning a new tag team feud.

NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks vs. Blue Pants: Banks won with the Bank Statement, but Blue Pants hung around a lot longer than anyone expected.

NXT Champion Kevin Owens vs. Adrian Neville: Owens was dominant as hell. Using strikes and a variety of Suplexes and even stepping on Neville’s head, Owens kept Neville on the ground. But after a vicious Spike DDT, Neville got back in the match. After some signature kicks as well and a Moonsault to the outside, Neville got the advantage. After a Springboard Dropkick, Neville earned the near-fall, but Owns was smart enough to get out of the ring. However, kept the presssure on and hit another kick and a 450 to the floor, but he couldn’t put Owens away. A pair of German Suplex and a Buzzsaw Kick couldn’t put Owens away either. Out of nowhere, Owens hit a Running Elbow, but Neville fought back with a Super Kick and a Spiking Reverse Frankensteiner, but again, couldn’t put Owens away. Going for the Red Arrow, Neville adjusted in mid move after Owens moved, but he walked right into the Powerbomb and was pinned by Owens.
