WWE RAW Power Rankings: Engine Idling Before Fast Lane

With a lack of swerves and unpredictability, the last episode of RAW before Fast Lane was anything but bold. More safe than sorry, this week’s RAW lacked the type of fire needed before a PPV.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who’s poised to put on a real show at the last pay per view before Wrestlemania.

Honorable Mention: Bray Wyatt: In another stirring vignette, Wyatt continued to discuss someone who has fallen from grace. A man that was once feared, but is now a shell of his former self. Whoever this may be (The Undertaker, possibly?) or not, it’s good news, Wyatt needs a new feud in the worst way.

5: Dean Ambrose: His win over Luke Harper this week was another solid match for one of the most well-rounded workers in the WWE. Hungry for a shot against Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, Ambrose is one of the top young talents in the business. With a lengthy United States title run already under his belt, an Intercontinental title reign would be great for him. Although a match with Barrett would be a better fit at Wrestlemania, it would still be a great one for Fast Lane.

4: Dolph Ziggler: His DQ win over Seth Rollins this week keeps him pertinent and keeps him within striking distance of something bigger and better. However, with no one to dance with in terms of a feud right now, Ziggler, just like Erick Rowan and Ryback, are left without much to do.

3: Triple H: Damn, he’s pissed off and he wants a piece of Sting. Ric Flair warned him not to take “The Franchise” lightly, but his emotions may have gotten the best of him here.

2: Roman Reigns: His win over Kane was of the cheap variety and it says something that the WWE had Reigns’ match at the top of the show’s first show. Regardless, it’s hard to imagine Reigns’ not getting the win over Bryan at Fast Lane for the simple fact that it appears to be the direction the WWE desperately wants to go in. It doesn’t matter if he’s not a ring general or even close to being the powerhouse he claims to be. It is what it is.

1: Daniel Bryan:  The best pure performer in the WWE, Bryan has an uphill battle to fight at Fast Lane, but he’ll do it with the full support of the fans. Never losing the WWE title, Bryan doesn’t need a title to justify his place in the WWE Universe.
