STEELY DAN ANNOUNCES SUMMER 2015 “ROCKABYE GOLLIE ANGEL TOUR” WITH SPECIAL GUEST ELVIS COSTELLO & THE IMPOSTERS

Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen and Walter Becker have announced that the band’s 2015 “ROCKABYE GOLLIE ANGEL TOUR” will extend into the summer with special guest Elvis Costello & The Imposters. Steely Dan recently announced an eight-date April run, which included a booking at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival that had chins wagging all across the music industry. Now, the news of these three Rock and Roll Hall of Famers on the same bill will certainly set fans abuzz nationwide. The summer 2015 “ROCKABYE GOLLIE ANGEL TOUR” is set to kick off at Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 6th and will hit 20 cities before concluding on August 12th in West Palm Beach, Florida.
In addition to a set of hits and fan-favorites from Elvis Costello & The Imposters, concertgoers will be treated to selections from The Dan’s extraordinary four-decade catalog, rich with infectious tunes, bodacious harmonies, irresistible grooves, and sleek, subversive lyrics punctuated by blazing solo work and rich ensembles.

STEELY DAN:
Steely Dan has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and helped define the soundtrack of the ’70s with hits such as “Reelin’ in the Years,” “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number,” “F.M.,” “Peg,” “Hey Nineteen,” “Deacon Blues,” and “Babylon Sisters,” culled from their seven platinum albums issued between 1972 and 1980 (including 1977’s groundbreaking Aja). They reunited in the early ’90s, launching a string of sold-out tours. In 2000 they released multi-Grammy winner (including “Album of the Year”) Two Against Nature, and released its acclaimed follow-up Everything Must Go in 2003. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
