NXT Power Rankings: KOin’ Everybody

With a handful of matches and plenty of promo, this week’s NXT was a well-balanced effort that was paced better than this week’s RAW.

Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see who’s got momentum on their side leading up to the next NXT Takeover event.

Honorable Mention: Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady: They still need more polish in the ring, but it’s hard to deny how charismatic they are. Although the Tag Team division in NXT is deep, they’ve continued to stay at the top of the pecking order despite being less experienced and in the case of Amore, undersized. That’s got to mean something.

5: Dana Brooke: She’s hot and got the moves needed to be a success in the NXT Women’s division. Although she needed help from Emma to get a win over Bayley, she’s still undefeated and getting better every week.

4: Alex Riley: He got destroyed this week by Kevin Owens, but it says something that WWE brass continue to put him in matches with elite competitors.

3: Hideo Itami: His win over Adam Rose once again proves he’s ready to join the elite class of NXT. After Sami Zayn gets his title shot, expect him to challenge Kevin Owens for an opportunity at Kevin Owens and the NXt Championship.

2: Sami Zayn: Healthy and focused , Zayn has his sights set on regaining the NXT title. With his shot finally set, Zayn and Owens will have what will easily be the most anticipated rematch in NXT history. One of the most polished and versatile performers in NXT, he’s only a few big matches away from landing on the WWE roster full-time.

1: Kevin Owens: Although he came to this week’s episode of NXT with a bit of a swagger that was erased by the end of his segment, Owens is still the NXT Champion and dedicated to destroying Sami Zayn once and for all. Easily the most dominant Champion in NXT history, Zayn will have his work cut out for him at NXT Takeover.
