WWE RAW Power Rankings: MITB Primer

A big card, some intriguing finishes and just enough set up for Money in the Bank made this week’s RAW one of the better ones in recent weeks.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who got in their last licks before Money in the Bank.

Honorable Mention: Nikki Bella: Say all you want about her and her recent reuse of “Twin Magic,” but Bella has managed to hold on to the Divas title for over six months. Who cares if it’s all an act of spite against AJ Lee and CM Punk? Either way you look at it, Bella is being pushed heavily as a heel Diva with an attitude.

5: John Cena: He did his part this week on RAW to sell Money in the Bank. That’s the reason why he was out there, to talk. His match with Kevin Owens at MITB is going to be another classic- there’s no doubt about it. At this point in his career, Cena is exactly where he needs to be, putting over younger stars while still maintaining his own star power.

4: Kevin Owens: He’s so much better on the microphone than anyone has ever given him credit for. His match with Adrian Neville this week on RAW was another indication that he’s ready for an expanded role on RAW and in the company. Ready to take on John Cena at MITB, Owens looks to continue his unprovable ride up the ladder in the WWE.

3: Ryback: He’s hungry and he’s about to get a full plate in the form of The Big Show at Money in the Bank. Although Ryback has fought for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship before, this may be the biggest match in the powerhouse’s career. The fact that Show is going to put him over is one thing, but can Ryback make himself look good in the process?

2: Dean Ambrose: The Instagram nonsense was a charming way to put Ambrose over more as the anti-hero, but in order to truly get himself over, Ambrose needs to beat Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank- and that’s just not going to happen.

1: Seth Rollins: He’s beginning to get a bit over his head, but he continues to find a way to win. That’s what great champions do and while Rollins may be just keeping the belt warm for Brock Lesnar, he’s making damn good use of his time.
