NXT Coverage: Tag Team Fun

Six matches in an hour and plenty of promo and development for the future ensured a solid episode of NXT this week.

Just three weeks away from NXT Takeover Brooklyn, NXT continues to gain positive momentum.

Matches:

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder vs. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady w/Carmella: Cassady dominated, but Wilder and Dawson were the better team, as they took out Amore and got the win with the Shatter Machine Flapjack/Code Breaker combination.

Baron Corbin vs. Jessie Sorensen: Corbin got the win over the former TNA performer with the End of Days in a matter of seconds.

Jason Jordan and Chad Gable vs. Elias Sampson and Lennox Valenzuela Jr.: This match lasted longer than expected, but Jordan and Gable got the win wit The Grand Amplitude.

Dana Brooke vs. Charlotte Flair: Brooke got in some strikes, but Flair got the relatively easy win with the Natural Selection.

Kevin Owens vs. Martin Stone: After the Cannonball in the corner and Senton from the top, Owens got the win with the Pop-Up Powerbomb. After the match, Owens hit Stone with a Powerbomb on the ring apron.

The Vaudevillians Aiden English and Simon Gotch vs. the NXT Tag Team Champions Blake and Murphy w/Alexa Bliss: The Vaudevillians had this match in hand until Bliss grabbed English’s leg, allowing Murphy to get the Rollup win. After the match, the Vaudevillians hit their Double Team Neckbreaker finish.
