Super Mario Maker Takes Nintendo’s Partnership with GameTruck to the Next Level

Mario is a party animal.

Nintendo and GameTruck are teaming up to bring “Super Mario Maker,” the Wii U exclusive 2D platformer arriving Friday, to parties and private consumer events across the country, according to a press release obtained by Review Fix.

GameTruck brings the latest video games to shindigs in major cities in 27 states using a fleet of more than 100 trucks fully equipped gaming goodies. And “game experts” tag along to give players tips and training.

Trucks won’t start rolling out until the following Friday, on Sept. 18, but party planners can make reservations now on GameTruck’s website.

Attendees will get to try out the game’s level creator, and the best levels submitted at the end of each event will be saved and shared across the country. Every month Nintendo and GameTruck will select their favorite level and feature it on Nintendo’s website.

The companies partnered over the summer to bring Nintendo’s colorful third-person shooter “Splatoon” to parties, sending trucks to more than 5,000 parties and about 1,500 big events.
