Power Man and Iron First Comic Arriving in 2016

Danny Rand and Luke Cage, better know as Power Man and Iron Fist, respectively, will team up once again for an on-going comic series releasing next year, Marvel announced in a press release obtained by Review Fix.

Penned by writers David Walker (“Shaft”) and Sanford Greene (“Uncanny Avengers”), “Power Man and Iron Fist” will challenge the heroes for hire — who have drifted apart since their days of crime-fighting back in the ‘70s — with working together after “an old friend comes to them in trouble.”

Power Man is a brawler with some pretty tough skin, and Iron Man’s kung fu skills and chi-powered fists are a deadly combination.

“I’ve loved these two characters since before they even teamed up,” Walker wrote in release. “When Power Man and Iron Fist first teamed up back in the late 1970s, their title quickly became one of my favorite books, and it was always something I fantasized about writing. Seeing them back together is like being reunited with your oldest friends. ”
