WWE Smackdown Coverage: A Step in the Right Direction

AJ Styles’ confrontation with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns wasn’t the only attraction this week on Thursday Night Smackdown. New superstars the likes of Apollo Crews and the Vaudevillains showed the WWE universe what they can do in the ring, which made the show awesome.

Matches:

AJ Styles and Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho: Styles was fired up until Sami Zayn interfered while the Phenomenal One took advantage and won via the Roll Up.

Zack Ryder vs. Intercontinental Champion The Miz w/Maryse: Ryder showed dominance before Maryse caused a distraction for The Miz who delivered The Skull Crushing Finale and retained his title.

Dean Ambrose vs. Tyler Breeze: Ambrose delivered a total beat down and defeated Breeze with Dirty Deeds.

The Lucha Dragons Kalisto and Sin Cara vs. The Vaudevillians Aiden English and Simon Gotch: English and Gotch attacked their opponents with powerful moves and used the Whirling Dirvish for the win.

Summer Rae vs. Natalya Neidhart: Rae was in deep trouble when Natalya took control and made her tap out to the Sharpshooter for a victory.

Apollo Crews vs. Curtis Axel w/Social Outcasts Adam Rose, Bo Dallas and Heath Slater: Aside from the multiple interference from the Social Outcasts, Crews had full momentum as he defeated Axel with the Toss Powerbomb.
