The Top Prospects in Madden 17

There are very few things guaranteed in life – these things are death, taxes and Madden.

The seminal football series has been a staple in gaming for over two decades. Fans reserve a spot in their gaming shelves for the yearly update excited to see if EA Sports goes beyond cosmetic changes and adds a new dynamic to the classic series.

Outside of those reasons to be excited for the newest edition, most people are just clamoring to play with the latest additions to the NFL family – waiting to play with the players you watched grow in college like your own children and graduate into the NFL, ready to light up the stat sheet.

With the NFL Draft coming to a close we thought e would take a look at the five players we are most excited to play with in “Madden 17.”

5. Joey Bosa

The number three pick in the draft is number five on our list. The Buckeye pass rusher had combine numbers comparable to living-quarterback-nightmare JJ Watt – Bosa is sure to have an immediate impact on a Chargers team that desperately needs it.

Bosa should get a generous rookie rating considering his draft number and Watt comparison and with Eric Weedle gone, whom else will you play ass on the defensive side of the ball on the Chargers?

4. Jalen Ramsey

The highest rated player on a lot of analysts draft board and rightfully so. The Florida State Seminole was lock down in college and should be the NFL’s next great corner.

The prospect of playing as Ramsey is intriguing as the team who drafted him, the Jaguars, have gotten significantly better on that side of the ball. With them solidifying the defensive line with Malik Jackson, you’ll be able to shadow the opposing team’s top target with ease.

3. Will Fuller

Deandre Hopkins is QB-proof, no matter who throws to him, he’s going to get it. The superstar wide out beat double teams and his subpar QBs, now that he has Brock Osweiler things are looking up and the Texans drafting Notre Dame wide receiver Will Fuller does not hurt.

Fuller is a speedster that should take the top off and should make the Texans a fun team to play as on offense. As players focus on Hopkins and Lamar Miller, you can just run a deep-route with Fuller and get an easy touchdown.

2. Robert Nkemdiche

The Arizona Cardinals got a steal at pick 29 with Robert Nkemdiche – a pick that should make the Cardinals a favorite among Madden players.

The Cardinals already added Chandler Jones in the offseason and the high-flying Cardinals defense should give you the space to cause some serious damage with Nkemdiche. Players will think twice before running on you with Nkemdiche.

1. Ezekiel Elliot

If last year proved anything for the Dallas Cowboys is that you cannot just put any running back behind that offensive line and they leanred that the hard way and so did Madden fans who dominated with DeMarco Murray in Madden 15 – picking Ezekiel Elliot shows that Jerry Jones and America’s team are looking to rectify that mistake.

With a healthy Tony Romo and Dez Bryant, the Cowboys will be a dynamic team on offense and players should be able break out for long runs with Elliot as he is running behind the best offensive line in the biz – Elliot is also a good pass-catcher and will have you calling a lot of screen play. All things considered, Elliot will be the most explosive rookie in “Madden 17”
