WWE Cruiserweight Classic Power Rankings: Perkins and Tozawa Sparkle

Awesome victories by TJ Perkins, Tajiri, and set the table on another solid episode of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. Check out this week’s WWE Cruiserweight Classic Power Rankings to see who dominated the most on their way to the sweet-16.

Honorable Mention: Da Mack: Despite his loss and lack of size, Da Mack is an entertainer with plenty of potential who could do well in the WWE if given an opportunity.

Keep Your Eyes On: Kenneth Johnson: His unique offense and large size for a cruiserweight, along with excellent cardio make him someone to keep tabs on.

5: Mustafa Ali: Even in defeat, Ali showed an awesome combination of high-flying offense and countering ability.

4: Lince Dorado: A mini version of Ultimo Dragon and Tiger Mask, Dorado’s win this week in the Cruiserweight classic was something special.

3: Tajiri: Damian Slater was no slouch, but even in his increasing years the 46-year-old Tajiri still knows how to kick, hard. If someone doesn’t find a way to stop his strike-heavy offense, Tajiri will continue to advance in this tournament.

2: TJ Perkins: A star in TNA that never got to shine, Perkins’ first round win over Da Mack was just a small taste of his unpredictable submission and high-flying style he brings to the ring. Polished and smooth in the ring, Perkins has the makings of a future WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

1: Akira Tozawa: His match wasn’t as exciting as TJ Perkins’ but make no mistake, the speed of his German Suplex is enough to put the fear in the heart of any performer.
