WWE Smackdown Coverage: A Competitive Statement

With the draft back in effect soon, superstars and divas stepped up their game in the ring this week on Thursday Night Smackdown. The card was intense and wild because the competition was the main attraction. Sasha Banks continues to go to war with Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, while there was more chaos as The Club battled Enzo and Big Cass.

The show definitely entertained and had a few story lines that are still worth to watch like the rivalry between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

Matches:

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose and Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens: Zayn and the Lunatic Fringe were all business before the Architect delivered a Pedigree to Zayn for the win.

Enzo and Colin Cassady vs. The Club: AJ Styles and Karl Anderson w/Luke Gallows: The competitive match was ruined when Gallows interfered and the Phenomenal One defeated his opponent with the Calf Crusher.

Sasha Banks vs. Dana Brooke w/Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair: Even with all of the distractions from Charlotte, the Legit Boss remained focused and won via submission when she used the Bank Statement.

Rusev w/Lana vs Dolph Ziggler: Rusev destroyed Ziggler, but with a distraction from Zack Ryder, the Showoff took advantage and delivered the Rollup pin for a victory.

The Lucha Dragons: Kalisto w/Sin Cara vs. Tyler Breeze w/Fandango:
Breeze was a bit frustrated when he couldn’t take his opponent down and it cost him after Kalisto beat him with the Salida del Sol.
