Honorable Mention: Drew Gulak: Despite the loss, Gulak has nothing to be ashamed of. A technical maven and submission master, he’s proven he belongs in the WWE.
5: Lince Dorado: Even in defeat, Dorado has that perfect blend of striking ability and high-flying ability to be a force in RAW’s Cruiserweight Division in the future. Like a younger Ultimo Dragon, Dorado’s speed and striking ability is super deceptive, making him able to win a match at any time.
4:Â Johnny Gargano: How many guys have a match of the year candidate three times in a month? Make no mistake, Gargano is one of the most talented performers in the world.
3: Zack Sabre Jr.: This kid is exactly what he bills himself to be, a technical wizard. After a decent victory in round one, Sabre Jr. stepped up to the plate and had a wonderful match with Drew Gulak.
2: Rich Swann: He’s charismatic and a wonderful athlete. His win over Lince Dorado advances him to the Elite Eight and that’s exactly where he belongs. Simply put, with a Phoenix Splash and the standing 450, there aren’t many cruiserweights in the world that can “handle†him.
1:Â TJ Perkins: The shocking victory from Perkins this week only confirms further that TNA made a huge mistake letting Perkins slip through their fingers.

The sequel, The Padre: One Shell Straight to Hell was released in February 2021- Hickey also served as a Story Editor and Lead Voiceover performer. He has also done narration and trailers for several other titles including The Kaiju Offensive, Relentless Rex and Roniu’s Tale.
Hickey is also the lead voiceover performer on Mega Cat Studios’ upcoming title WrestleQuest, responsible for nearly 90 characters in the game, as well as Skybound's Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood, where he voices both Dracula and Renfield, as well as several other characters. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
