WWE Smackdown Live Coverage: AJ Hungry, Wyatt Wants Orton

The card was wild and intense in every direction and with the new titles ready to be awarded at Backlash, everyone had a motive to reveal that they’re championship material.

Matches/Segments:

Smackdown kicked off with Miz’s defense against critics about his ability as a wrestler until Dolph Ziggler interrupted the Intercontinental Champion. Apollo Crews vs. AJ Styles: Crews gave him a powerful beat down and it still wasn’t enough as Styles defeated his opponent with the Phenomenal Forearm.

Alexa Bliss and Natalya vs. Becky Lynch and Naomi: Lynch was fired up before Carmella caused a distraction and Bliss won via Rollup.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin: The Lunatic Fringe had momentum on his side, but Styles caused a disqualification after he attacked Corbin.

The Headbangers: Mosh and Thrasher vs. Rhyno and Heath Slater: The One Man Band was destroyed by the Headbangers, before Rhyno got the win with the Gore.

The Vaudevillians: Aiden English and Simon Gotch vs. Hype Bros: Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley: In an average match that featured a brisk pace Ryder and Rawley delivered the Hype Ryder for the victory.
