WWE Clash of Champions Power Rankings: Perkins, Owens and New Day Retain in Luke Warm PPV

Check out our Clash of Champions Power Rankings to see who left RAW’s first PPV of the new era with the most to brag about.

Honorable Mention: Chris Jericho: He’s the dude that puts everyone over, but his win over Sami Zayn proved Y2J has plenty of mileage left on his engine.

5: TJ Perkins: His WWE PPV debut wasn’t perfect, but it was damn good. Like “Little Mac” in Punch-Out, Perkins is a great underdog. But Brian Kendrick, Perkins’ new rival, isn’t done with him just yet. With a few more RAW matches and some promo time, Perkins and the WWE Cruiserweight Championship can become an important one.

4: The New Day: Although they succumbed to using heel tactics to beat Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, it’s hard to argue with 400-day reign as champions. Regardless, The New Day has to continue step up or the Tag Team Division will lose its luster. With the Cruiserweight Championship now on RAW and the WOmen’s Division regaining momentum, the Tag Team titles need a monster angle and wild matches. As it is right now, since their arrival, Gallows and Anderson are the ones that have done more in terms of creative promo and quality in-ring work.

3: Roman Reigns: The WWE brass did the right thing at Clash of Champions by putting the mid-card championship on Reigns, who was in need of some gold, but obviously not the Universal Championship. It’s safe to say that if the WWE didn’t rush Reigns to the WWE Championship for a year and instead opted to have him fight for the US Championship, he’d be mega over now and read for a shot at the Universal Championship.

2: Seth Rollins: It’s crazy that he’s actually considered the best face on RAW right now, but after being screwed by Triple H and now Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens, Rollins has captured the hearts of the RAW Universe. If anyone is deserving of the title, it’s Rollins. But he’s going to have lady luck on his side and get some help, from someone in order to regain the title he’s been continually screwed out of. Because at this point, he’s proven he can’t do it by himself.

1: Kevin Owens: He’s such a bastard-Him and Chris Jericho. Cheating Seth Rollins out of a victory for the WWE Univeral Championship, Owens has proven he’s not a transitional champion. As a matter of fact he’s proven he’s a damn good heel and someone who can have a great match with just about anybody.
