Review Fix Exclusive: Inside Escape Games at Sony Square NYC

.

As New Yorkers gear up for Halloween, scoping out haunted houses to see, which one offers the scariest experience – Sony is looking to offer some counter programming.

At Sony Square NYC, “Timeless” star, Malcolm Barrett and “The Blacklist” stars Amir Arison and Hisham Tawfiq were on hand to unveil two new experiences housed at Sony Square based on the two hit NBC series.

Created in tandem with Escape Entertainment, both experiences are themed after the two series with the “Timeless” one putting Sony Square goers in the crew’s Lifeboat time machine and “The Blacklist” plugs you into the FBI’s high-security holding cell — both can be played by 2-4 people with a ten minute time limit.

The event saw a Sony Pictures Television crossover that we will likely never seen on the small screen as Barrett buckled down to solve “The Blacklist” challenge and Arison and Tawfiq took a ride in the Lifeboat to complete “The Timeless” challenge.

“We are thrilled to offer these fun and exciting escape games to Sony Square NYC visitors,” said Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Sony Corporation of America, Steven Flud. “This interactive exhibit showcases an amazing integration of Sony’s entertainment properties with its products, offering a unique and engaging experience that only Sony can deliver.”

Outside of the two Escape games, Sony has some of their latest products on display for visitors, and yes, the guests of honor did not hold back on trying them.

Barrett and Tawfiq tried out Sony’s Playstation VR where they played “London Heist” and Arison could be found making GIFs at the escape games photobooth.

The “Timeless” and “The Blacklist” escape games are free and open to the public, they can be experienced from now until December 2nd at Sony Square NYC.
