WWE RAW Coverage: Battlegrounds Drawn

Don’t let the beefy card and Survivor Series preamble fool you. This week’s RAW was sleep-inducing aside from the appearance of Team Smackdown at the end of the show which saw WWE World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles get Powerbombed out of the ring.

Matches:

United States Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens vs. Sheamus and Cesaro: Sheamus hit Owens with the Brogue Kick, but Reigns finished off Sheamus with the Spear in a solid match that did little in terms of storytelling.

Bo Dallas vs. Sami Zayn: Dallas was a decent opponent, but Zayn got the win with the Exploder Suplex and Helluva Kick.

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day: Kofi Kingston, Big E. Langston and Xavier Woods vs. Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho and Braun Strowman: After Y2J tagged in Strowman, the big man beat Woods with a Running Powerslam.

Sin Cara vs. WWE Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick: Cara was solid and nearly won with a Sit-Out Powerbomb but Kendrick won with the Bully Choke.

Nia Jax and Alicia Fox vs. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks: Banks and Flair couldn’t get along, but Banks beat Fox with the Bank Statement.

Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore vs. Primo, Epico, Goldust and R-Truth: Gallows and Anderson got the win with The Magic Killer and played games with Enzo and Cass.
