ROH TV Coverage: Lethal and Rhodes Feud Heating Up

A vignette from new TV Champion Marty Scurll, as well as a Cody Rhodes match and an epic main event between Jushin Thunder Liger made sure everyone was happy by the end of this week’s episode of ROH TV.

Matches:

The Rebellion: Kenny King, Rhett Titus and Caprice Coleman vs. Donovan Dijak, Lio Rush and Jay White: Lots of near-falls and spots in a fast-paced opener. After what felt like a finisher frenzy, White hit the Urinage Suplex, while Rush followed it up with a Frog Splash off Dijak’s shoulders before Dijak got the win with a top rope move of his own. After the match, however, The Rebellion beat on Rush and company until Chris Sabin made the save.

Cody Rhodes vs. Steve Corino: Rhodes and Corino had an amazing back and forth before the match, one that Rhodes got the win with thanks to the Beautiful Disaster and the Bionic Elbow. After the match, Jay Lethal hit the ring and beat on Rhodes before the man formerly known as Stardust escaped out of the crowd.

The Decade of Excellence Tournament: Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Jay Lethal: Liger nearly won with the Palm Strike and Top Rope Frankensteiner, but Lethal got the win with the Lethal Injection.
