NXT Coverage: Bate Retains UK Championship

Although there were just three matches, Tyler Bate’s defense of the WWE UK Championship, a Kassius Ohno vignette and plenty of competition in the WOmen’s and Tag Team Divisions were more than enough to deliver an enjoyable hour of wrestling.

Matches:

NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain: Akam and Rezar w/Paul Ellering vs. Garriston Spear and Lance Anoa’i: A complete squash as TAOP hit the Russian Leg Sweep/Clothesline for the win before decimating both opponents after the match.

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay vs. Liv Morgan and Ember Moon: Royce and Kay got the win with the assisted Running Knee on Morgan. While Moon and Morgan were a good combination, Royce and Kay are just better.

WWE United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate vs. Trent Seven: Bate got the win with the Tyler Driver 97, but Seven nearly won with the Seven Star Lariat. A wonderful match, this is a feud that could definitely continue once UK programming gets underway on the WWE Network.
