NXT Coverage: GTS Anyone?

The last show before NXT Takeover Chicago this weekend, this episode of NXT, although lacking in setting up some of the smaller storylines, did an excellent job of getting people excited for the bout between Hideo Itami and NXT Champion Bobby Roode.

Matches:

Drew McIntyre vs. Sean Maluta: McIntyre won with the Claymore, but give Maluta marks for busting open the former TNA World Champion’s eye in a quick but fun match.

Sonya Deville vs. Lacey Evans: Deville won with a Running Enzigieri a-la Noam Daar to win this snorefest.

Kassius Ohno vs. Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas: One of the best matches in NXT this year. Lots of back and forth. Ohno won with the Forearm Smash.
