Review Fix Exclusive: Tony Hawk Talks ‘Dumb: The Story of Big Brother Magazine’

As Hulu continues to expand its library of original content to compete with other streaming giants – it has become a hub of documentaries that spotlight some overlooked cultural pillars like “Batman and Bill” and that continues with “Dumb: The Story of Big Brother Magazine.”

“Dumb” tells the story of influential skate magazine Big Brother Magazine, which in the late 90s left its mark and would become the jumping off point for MTV’s Jackass.

Review Fix talks with Skateboarding icon Tony Hawk regarding the impact of Big Brother magazine and why this documentary will bring some much-needed eyes on the magazine, which at times gets overlooked because of bigger names like Thrasher.

“Dumb: The Story of Big Brother Magazine” is available to stream on Hulu June 3rd.
