WWE RAW Coverage: Men in Bear Suits?

Bear Suits? Is this what RAW has come to now? For the past month, there’s been a segment on RAW that was so bad that it made you want to change the channel. Dean Ambrose in a Bear suit was this week’s disaster.

Starting off strong with drama between Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe and ending strong with a two-out-of-three falls match for the WWE RAW Tag Team titles, the show wasn’t awful, it just had no meat in-between. Bottom line, this show needs to be rebooted.

Matches:

Elias Sampson vs. Dean Ambrose: Thanks to interference from The Miz and Maryse, Sampson was able to win with the Swinging Neckbreaker.

Cedric Alexander vs. Noam Dar: A disaster that saw Alexander get the squash win with the Lumbar Check.

Kalisto vs. Apollo Crews w/Titus O’Neil: Crews got the win with a spinning variation of his Powerbomb. Akira Tozawa was ringside and apparently wasn’t happy to be a part of the Titus Brand.

Sasha Banks, Mickie James and Dana Brooke vs. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, Via Jax and Emma: A thrown together match that saw Banks win with the Bank Statement.

Intercontinental Champion The Miz and “A Bear” w/Maryse vs. Heath Slater and Rhyno: All the Bear puns aside, this was awful. Ambrose revealed himself as the Bear and took out Miz with the Dirty Deeds and threw Slater on top for the win.

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: With Cast attacked again before the match, apparently by The Revival, Gallows and Anderson got the quick win with the Magic Killer. After the match, The Big Show hit the ring to limit the damage, much to Cars’ chagrin.

Two-out-of-Three Falls: WWE Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro vs. Matt and Jeff Hardy: Sheamus got the first near-fall, but the Hardy’s fought back and Matt scored a fall on Cesaro. However, before there could be a definitive winner, both teams got counted out.
