WWE RAW Coverage: Jordan Debuts, Fatal 4-Way Set

A lengthy and boring main event and minor storytelling for Summerslam did little to make this week’s episode of RAW anything more than mediocre. Away from the RAW debut of Jason Jordan and the ongoing feud between Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt, there wasn’t much of a reason to watch the show.

Matches:

No DQ: Finn Balor vs. Elias Sampson: Balor had the match sewn up with the Coup De Grace, but Bray Wyatt interfered and nailed Balor with the Sister Abigail to give Sampson the win.

Colin Cassady vs. Enzo Amore: Cassady squashed Amore and won with the Big Boot. After the match, Cassady continued the beating until The Big Show hit the ring. Cassady then hit Big Show with the Big Boot and five Empire Elbows.

Emma vs. Nia Jax: Emma got decimated as Jax won with the Standing Senton Backsplash.

#1 Contender for RAW Women’s Championship: Bayley vs. Sasha Banks: Banks seemed like she was in control and hit the Frog Splash, but Bayley countered into a pinfall and stole the win in easily the best match on this week’s RAW.

Jason Jordan vs. Curt Hawkins: Jordan got the squash win with the Belly to Back Neckbreaker.

The Revival: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: A distraction from the Hardy Boys allowed Dawson and Wilder to get the win on Anderson with the Shatter Machine. After the pin, the Hardy Boys hit the ring and beat on the winners.

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Intercontinental Champion The Mis, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas w/Maryse:  Miz and his boys fought hard and nearly won but with Rollins in the match selling throughout, Ambrose got the Hot Tag and surged, nailing Mis with the Dirty Deeds for the win.
