Review Fix Exclusive: Luke Chilton Talks ‘Lose Ourselves Tonight’ And More

Review Fix chats with singer/songwriter Luke Chilton, who discusses his new single, “Lose Ourselves Tonight,” as well as his creative process and goals for the future.

Review Fix: How did you get involved in music?

Luke Chilton: I started performing at my local theatre at 8 years old. Since then, music and performing have been a major part of my life.

Review Fix: How has your sound evolved since you started?

Chilton: When I first started, it was definitely bubblegum pop. As life has evolved, so has my music. My lyrics tell a story and are more meaningful now that I have more life experiences.

Review Fix: What makes your brand of music special?

Chilton: My current music is something that anyone of any age can relate to. My upcoming EP, “LUKE” has it all from heartbreak, wanting to find love, and partying, Also, I think I have a vocal tone that is unique and different from many performers.

Review Fix: Why do you think people should enjoy it?

Chilton: This record is very current and is a type of music I have been wanting to achieve for a couple years, and I think now is the perfect time!

Review Fix: How does your experience in theatre help you as a performer?

Chilton: Theatre has definitely given me more confidence and taught me to expect the unexpected. Theatre was a great learning tool which helped provide a pathway which is helping me reach my goals.

Review Fix: What inspired your new single?

Chilton: The song is about rekindling a love that was lost over time and I was at the point in my life where I regretted losing that person.

Review Fix: How do you want that song to affect people?

Chilton: One of my biggest wishes is that my music will inspire and make other people happy when they hear it. The drop beats always seem to get people off their feet!

Review Fix: What are your goals for 2018?

Chilton: My E.P “LUKE” will be coming out soon so I hope to tour around performing and promoting those songs.

Review Fix: What’s next?

Chilton: I want to continue working on new music and growing as an artist.

Review Fix: Anything else you’d like to add?

Chilton: I’ve had such a great team working with me. My managers, promoters, and writers are all amazing.
