NXT Coverage: Ladies Night

Two championship matches and the continued development of the Almas/Gargano feud, as well as the promise of a Killian Dane/Aleister Black match, made sure this was a week of NXT programming you didn’t want to miss, but the increasingly intriguing NXT Women’s Division stole the show.

Matches:

WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne vs. Roderick Strong: This was a PPV quality match as Dunne stayed away from the Backbreaker and worked on Strong’s hand throughout. Strong kicked out of almost everything, but Dunne eventually hit the Bitter End for the win.

TM61: Nick Miller and Shane Thorne vs. Andrew Duckworth and John Skyler: Essentially a squash as TM61 hit the Thunder Valley for the win.

NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon vs. Shayna Baszler: Kairi Sane got involved to give the win to Baszler via DQ. Baszler worked on Moon and dominated throughout the match, but Sane took out Baszler with a monster spear to end the show.
