WWE RAW Coverage: Walkin’ With Elias

This was an episode of RAW that died a slow death. It started out strong, but the last hour dragged so bad that it was almost impossible to get into an important main event. While it was still a decent episode, the WWE is severely lacking charismatic stars. They need more explosive personalities. It’s all too drab right now. With Wrestlemania around the corner, someone has to step up.

Matches:

Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns: Wyatt hit Reigns with everything, including the Sister Abigail in a more than solid opener. Reigns however predictably fought back and got the win with The Spear. After the match, Matt Hardy hit the ring and nailed Wyatt with the Twist of Fate.

Finn Balor and Karl Anderson w/Luke Gallows vs. The Revival: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder: This was one of Anderson’s most dominant matches and Balor was just as solid, winning with the Coup De Grace.

Tony Nese and Drew Gulak vs. Cedric Alexander and Tony Nese: Alexander got the win with the Lumbar Check over Gulak in a fun, athletic encounter that teased this week’s 205 Live.

Asuka vs. Bayley: Asuka got the win with the Arm-Bar, but Bayley was full of counters and nearly won the match several times.

Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Intercontinental Champion The Miz w/ Bo Dallas vs. Apollo Crews w/Titus O’Neil and Dana Brooke: Crews fought hard, but the Miz got the win with the Skull-Crushing Finale.

WWE RAW Tag Team Champions: The Bar: Sheamus and Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns: Jason Jordan eventually made it to the ring and got involved when The Bar decided to leave the ring, causing Sheamus and Cesaro to win via DQ.

Nia Jax vs. Victoria Floyd: Jax got the squash win with the Gorilla Press/Leg Drop.

Mickie James vs. Sonya Deville w/Mandy Rose and Paige: James got the win with a Rollup but Absolution beat on her until Alexa Bliss made the surprise save.

Triple Threat: Winner Becomes Last Entry in Elimination Chamber: John Cena vs. Braun Strowman vs. Elias Sampson: Strowman got nailed with Sampson’s guitar and caught an Attitude Adjustment on the ring steps from Cena to eliminate him from most of the match. However, Strowman fought back and nailed Cena with Powerslam, but was Rolled Up by Sampson for the surprise win. After the match however, Strowman got the last laugh, hitting Cena and Sampson with Running Powerslams.
