Impact Wrestling Coverage: Kross Appears, Cage Screwed

An anti-climactic main event and a weird end segment which featured the arrival of Kevin Kross as the mystery attacker, slowed down an already lackluster Impact. Could this be the beginning of a new creative turn? Only time will tell.

Matches:

Rebel vs. Taya Valkyrie: Rebel worked extremely hard here and made this a real match, but Valkyrie got the win with the Road to Valhalla. After the match, she called out Madison Rayne.

Fallah Bahh and KM vs. Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley: The Cult of Lee was able to steal the match after some miscommunication between Bahh and KM. After the match, it appeared the partnership between KM and Bahh is over.

Eli Drake vs. Moose: Drake nearly won several times, but Moose won with the Spear to get a Title shot at Slammiversary.

No DQ: Kiera Hogan vs. Tessa Blanchard: Hogan fought hard, but Blanchard won with a Full Nelson Swinging Slam on a chair.

AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo De Fantasma vs. Jake Crist w/Dave Crist: Fantasma got the win with the Rollup and tried to get out of there as quickly as possible, but after the match, the Crists and Sami Callahan beat on Fantasma, but Pentagon Jr. made the save.

X-Division Champion Matt Sydal vs. Brian Cage: Kongo Kong and Jimmy Jacobs were a distraction, but Cage was in control throughout anyway until Kong threw Cage into the rings steps, causing him to get counted out.
