Cult Movies 101

There was once a time when B-Movies flooded Mom and Pop video stores.  We want take you on a journey back to those fun days, when you had no clue what you were renting beyond those dusty old video boxes, from companies like Media Home Entertainment, Paragon, Troma and Vestron.

A time of painfully unfunny sex comedies, vampires, deadly musicians, Surf Nazis, The Toxic Avenger, Fred “The Hammer” Williamson, Sorority House and Slumber Party massacres, Jason Voorhies, Chuck Norris fighting for truth, justice and the American way, and one very special She Wolf of the SS, these are times some movie-goers still hold very close to their hearts.

Some however, can’t help but watch them regardless of how much they hate them.

Regardless of the way you feel, all your cult-movie questions will be answered here. I went through the wilderness of the home-video market, so you don’t have to.

  1. ReviewFix I enjoy your site a lot. Excellent interview with Out of the Park Baseball staff member. I’m going to check out some of these Cult movies. I am shocked that you do not have the movie “They Live” on the list.
