Frampton Comes Alive, maybe the most popular live Album but I wouldn’t put it on the list. Some other considerations , Little Feat “Waiting for Columbus” Uriah Heep Live 1973, Grand Funk Railroad “Live Album”and I think Ten Years After “Recorded Live” is cooler than the Filmore…but thats just me.

As for Frampton Comes Alive – I love it, but if it belongs on here, then so does Kiss Alive (both heaviliy overdubbed). One surprising omission; REO Speedwagon “Live You Get What You Play For”. One nominee for honorable mention; Pat Travers “Live – Go For What You Know”. And, finally; what is it about the Fillmore that birthed so many of the great live albums?

I think the best but most forgotten band you conviently left off was Misfire Live! ,,no but i really wanted Live Cream to be at leasr number 4, The Who ‘live at Leeds always # ONE Once again Great Aricle ,,ur a beautiful man ;)

great choices…live at filmore east is one i forgot about but deserves to be on the list….thanks for leaving off kiss alive…it’s not as “alive” as we thought….rumors are the album is heavily studio overdubbed…even the band has admited to at least some overdubbing
