Patrick Hickey Jr. is a full-time Assistant Professor of Communication & Performing Arts and Director of the Journalism program at Kingsborough Community College and is the chairman of the City University of New York Journalism Council. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.

  1. Great interview! It was really cool to hear where Dave came from and how he has progressed throughout his career. I liked the story about “Until You” as I never would have guessed that was how the song came about.

  2. Dave Barnes is the man! His music is great and he is such a genuine person, which is a quality that’s hard to come by in the music industry today. It’s great to hear the back story of “Until You”, and it’s hard to believe that that song was almost never recorded. The quality isn’t that great, but overall this is a pretty good interview.

  8. Great interview. Dave is just so down to earth and has amazing muisc. I loved this interview beacause it gave you more insight into who Dave is.

  9. One of the reasons why Dave is such a great artist is he’s such a compelling person. I love to listen to interviews, and especially see him perform live because of this.

  10. I think it should be a requirement that on the booklet of a cd the artist explains how they came about writing/choosing each song for the album. It would really help the listen connect better with the music. Love the new album.
