Going Out With a Bang

It’s finally here, the first season finale of the A-list. It’s been a rough ride with a lot of twists and turns and betrayal and now it is over, for the time being anyway. Like true A-list celebrities, the boys made sure that they ended their first season with a bang.

This week’s episode starts off where it ended last week, in the forests of Maine. The atmosphere between the boys and Rodiney is still intense, especially when Austin refused to eat Rodiney’s salad that he made with cabbage instead of lettuce. It must be hard to try and fit in where you are not wanted.

Eventually, the hurtful words and cold shoulders began to melt as the tears started to flow. In an emotional display by Austin. He apologized for trying to come in between Reichan and Rodiney’s relationship. With the previous events now forgiven, they made sure that they are not forgotten; Austin and Rodiney still hate each other.

Austin seems to have reached an impasse in his life when it comes to being in the fashion industry or being with his boyfriend, Jake. For right now, Jake is the most important thing that Austin has going for himself. Ryan confesses to TJ that he and his husband, Desmond, are now in the elementary stage of attempting to become parents.

Mike was able to pull himself away from his camera lens and make an appearance at a fund raiser for the Trevor Project. The Trevor Project is a non-profit organization, which has a 24 hour hotline, whose main goal is to prevent Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth from committing suicide.

The season ended with a live performance from the rhythm less, tone deaf Reichan that wasn’t half bad. His heart was in the song and the emotion was definitely there. Reichan learned the hard way that his real friends are not always completely honest with him. He discovered this when he overheard Austin tearing down his performance and then outwardly lied about it to his face.

Like the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, even the not so good things. This season has been unpredictable from day one and it doesn’t look like the surprises are going to be ending anytime soon. With a reunion special on the horizon, these boys are not about to let their unfinished business stay unfinished.
