Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival returns in August with Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach, Adelitas Way, P.O.D., Deuce and more

The third annual Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival returns this August and September for more than 30 shows throughout North America. The main stage features multiplatinum rock bands Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind and Papa Roach, along with breaking band Adelitas Way. In addition, the Ernie Ball Stage and Jägermeister Stage in the festival area will include performances from multiplatinum headliners P.O.D., as well as up-and-coming artists Deuce, Fozzy, Redlight King, Mindset Evolution (winner of the 2011 Best Buy Music Gear Battle Of The Bands Powered By Ernie Ball), In This Moment, Thousand Foot Krutch, Candlelight Red and a local battle of the bands winner.

The touring music and lifestyle festival continues to grow. Despite encountering hurricanes, floods and other inclement weather in 2011, the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival packed houses, with over 324,800 in total attendance. UPROAR expands in 2012 by adding a third stage and more bands to the lineup.

P.O.D.

P.O.D. Deuce

Deuce is a lyricist, songwriter, producer and knows-no-boundaries singer/rapper hailing from Los Angeles, CA. As the co-founder, former lead singer and main songwriter/producer for Hollywood Undead, Deuce emerged as the creative force that led the band to staggering albums sales of their debut, Swan Songs, which also reached #1 on the Alternative, Hard Rock and Rock album charts. Redlight King

Mindset Evolution

Mindset Evolution is a hard hitting five piece active rock band from Peoria, IL featuring Rob Ulrich (vocals), Joey Gibbs (drums), Skyler Baer (guitar), Bradley Prentice (guitar), and Josh Bodeen (bass). Mindset Evolution formed in 2005 and has grown over time into the powerhouse that it is today. In This Moment

Dynamic metal rockers In This Moment’s fourth album for longtime label Century Media Records, BLOOD, is slated for a Summer 2012 release.  The set is produced by studio great Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch). The southern California-based band was formed in 2005 and have released three full length albums to date, selling over a quarter of a million records in the US alone. They’ve cracked the Top 40 Active Rock charts and have appeared on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, as well as Warped and Ozzfest tours.  Frontwoman Maria Brink was recently named Revolver’s Hottest Chick in Metal.  In This Moment is: Maria Brink (vocals), Chris Howorth (lead guitar) and Travis Johnson (bass).

Thousand Foot Krutch

Toronto-area rockers Thousand Foot Krutch first appeared in 1997. In 2003, the band signed to Tooth and Nail and released their first studio album, Phenomenon. They have since released four records, with their fifth album, The End Is Where We Begin, released in April 2012. The End Is Where We Begin marks a turning point for the band as they independently release their first album in nearly 15 years. With over 17 major awards to their name (GMA Dove, GMA Canada Covenant Awards, etc.), the band is at their peak, continuing to tour the world over.

Candlelight Red

Candlelight Red delivers hard-edged, yet melodic, powerful, emotion-driven music to its audience. Case in point, the group’s kick ass debut full length, The Wreckage (released via Imagen Records), which was produced by Grammy-nominated producer David Ivory (whose credits include Halestorm and the Roots, among others).
