NBC’s ‘The Voice’ Renewed for Two Seasons in 2013

NBC’s The Voice is slated to return for two more seasons.

The show, which stars Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as celebrity judges and team leaders, will air new seasons again the spring and the fall of 2013, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

In the spring fourth season, however, Aguilera and Green will be replaced by fellow pop stars Shakira and Usher. Aguilera and Green plan to return to the show after promoting their upcoming solo projects.

“This pickup will assure the many dedicated Voice fans that this innovative show will continue to bring some of the most talented new voices to the world’s attention through all of next year,” NBC chairman Robert Greenblatt sad in a statement. “With the addition of Usher and Shakira as rotating coaches to join Christina, Cee Lo, Adam and Blake in the next cycle, we know that this incredibly addictive program will remain even more relevant as we move forward through this exciting season.”
