WWE RAW Power Rankings: The Shield Living the Dream

Sure, the last episode of Monday Night RAW was tease, but there was plenty of action in the ring and several solid segments. The Beat the Clock Challenge and promos from CM Punk and Hello No made sure of that.

Here’s our weekly list of who got it done better in the ring and on the microphone than everyone else.

5: Big Show: A KO win over Zack Ryder, Show is pissed off. With his Last Man Standing rematch against World Champion Alberto Del Rio set for Royal Rumble, that match should be an interesting one.

4: Ryback: An easy win over Heath Slater puts Ryback in a great spot for the Royal Rumble. How will he fare in his first appearance in the event? Yet to be cleanly pinned, Ryback may be green as the Hulk, but his stock continues to grow every week with the average mark. He hasn’t won over seasoned-fans, but it’s hard to argue with the results he gets in the ring.

3: Dolph Ziggler: Yeah, we know what you’re thinking. He needs the help of AJ Lee and Big E. Langston to win, but even without them, he’s a damn good worker. The Miz has grown by leaps and bounds since he was WWE champion. Because of that, these two had the best match of the night on RAW this week. With his Money in the Bank briefcase yet to be cashed in, Ziggler still has plenty of potential to entertain. You haven’t seen is best yet.

2: Daniel Bryan and Kane: The Tag Team Champions finally graduated from Anger Management class in one of the most enjoyable segments on RAW in months. The best tag team in the company in years, no one thought it could have worked, but even after months together and some ups and downs, the team continues to entertain in and out of the ring.

1: The Shield: An awesome montage/promo segment for the trio early in the show made their 2013 goals painfully clear- to wreak utter havoc. Their decimation of The Rock later in the night only proves that. Three of the brightest young stars in the company, it would be nice to see them dominate in singles matches as well, but for now, the triple-teaming of the WWE’s most established veterans will have to do.
