R&B ARTIST DANIEL PETER RELEASES “I WOULDN’T CHANGE A THING,” NEW SINGLE FROM FOR THE LIFE OF ME

Southern California-based R&B performer Daniel Peter is releasing “I Wouldn’t Change a Thing” on February 26 as the new single from his groove- and faith-filled solo record, FOR THE LIFE OF ME.

“I Wouldn’t Change a Thing” is the perfect melding of Daniel’s warm, soulful vocal quality, his thoughtful, revealing, and uplifting lyrics, and the memorable pop-infused R&B music. It’s a smile-inducing song that rejoices in the joy that a solid relationship provides.

While Daniel’s strong faith foundation informs the songwriting on FOR THE LIFE OF ME, it is not Bible study. It is a celebration of relationships and the ups and downs of life as filtered through a belief in something greater. It is musical gratitude. But the lyrics can be understood from any filter.

As a young boy, Daniel watched his father, The Reverend David Hernandez Sr., build his own church community – leading worship from the organ and preaching every Sunday. Daniel knew his calling was to support his father’s mission by becoming a worship artist. In 1989, Daniel formed Nuvision, a gospel group with his brother Isaac Hernandez, and Edward Johnson., which signed a record deal with Word/Sony in 1991. The group toured the country in support of its debut, EVERLASTING LOVE, and was nominated for a Stellar Award for Best New Artist.

Upon the passing of his father in 2008, Daniel was inspired to write, perform, and produce his first solo single, “For The Life Of Me,” and soon the extraordinary events and challenges following prompted the rest of the tracks on the album. “This record is a true reflection of the Christian’s life. The ups and the downs. But most importantly. the solution.” Daniel Peter says.
