WWE RAW Power Rankings: Soulless

This week’s Monday Night RAW was beyond slow. The lackluster TV matches did nothing to spice up the plodding pace either. That doesn’t mean that there weren’t bright spots; they were just much dimmer than usual.

Check out our weekly RAW Power Rankings to see what WWE Superstars didn’t put us to sleep.

Honorable Mention: Stephanie McMahon: Damn, was she in bitch mode or what? Pure evil, McMahon was at her heel best as she fired The Big Show and put the fear of god into Brad Maddox.

5: The Shield: Although Dean Ambrose needs to get in a real singles feud and Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins deserve an angle with The Primetime Players, they continue to get job the job done as Triple H’s muscle. They usually do their best work with Daniel Bryan and this week’s match proved that formula still works well.

4: CM Punk: His win against Ryback at Battleground sets the stage for something bigger and better than feuding with Paul Heyman’s troupe of mid-carders, right? Not exactly. Punk jumped right into a feud with Ryback and this time, brought R-Truth with him. What this means for Punk moving forward is unclear, but it’s pretty obvious his days in the WWE title picture, at least for the time being, are numbered.

3: Randy Orton: Even without the WWE title around his waist, Orton is one of the most compelling competitors on the roster. Before his Money in the Bank victory, Orton looked like a star without a constellation. A few months later and “The Apex Predator” positioned in the middle of the WWE title picture.

2: The Big Show: This is a much better Big Show. After he knocked out Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton, Show is no longer full of tears. He’s full of rage. This can only lead to a larger role for him in the company’s biggest storyline. Even if he’s been “fired,” expect Show to cause a ruckus on RAW over the next coming weeks.

1: Daniel Bryan: To see the little firecracker beat on Orton after his match was great- easily the best moment of the night. As usual, Bryan was stellar in the main event and combined with The Shield and the Rhodes delivered one of the only moments on this week’s show that wasn’t sleep inducing.
